We all know just how much I love a proposal capture, so you can imagine how excited I was when I was contacted by Ben to capture this special moment with his girlfriend Charlotte. 

Being local, I had a few ideas for some stunning locations of where we could do this. Being December, we had to look at places that would still make beautiful backdrops during winter. The chosen spot was on Old Winchester Hill near Petersfield, Its breathtaking countryside views made it the perfect place.

I met up with Ben on location prior to the proposal date so we could find 'the spot' and plan exactly where to be. Being December we didn't have any other passers by to work or plan around although it did make me less undercover! 

The big day arrived and the weather wasn't as ideal as we had hoped but it wasn't tipping down and the fine mist in the air added a lovely atmospheric feel to the photos.

I recently had the great pleasure of photographing this beautiful building for Susannah Acland Interiors.

The owner needed some shots for her website and social media to advertise it for holiday rental. It was really important to show the size of the rooms as this was some feedback that she had received from just her phone shots that she had previously used. A common comment being, 'It looks so much bigger when you are here, we couldn't see that in the photos'. 

Whilst this was a nice surprise for her guests, its something that potentially could have deterred customers. Using the correct camera equipment, angles and lighting, its absolutely possible to show off a building to its full potential and attract those all important bookings.

I was delighted to be contacted by Charlie from Pure Alternative Therapy in Alton to capture some interior shots of her beautiful therapy building. Built in the 1500's, it is one of Alton's oldest buildings which is beautifully preserved with its original beams and incredibly low doorways! Pure has several therapy rooms which are used by a variety of independent therapists including a newly decorated talking therapists room. In response to the growing demand for mental health services, Charlie is pleased to offer a newly renovated room for talking therapies.
​It really is a beautiful and very calming space to be in, which is what she wanted captured in the photos. 

I had the absolute pleasure to photograph Naomi's Preserves to showcase her wonderful and ever expanding jam making business to use for her marketing. 
Naomi uses only the freshest local ingredients in her products and are preservative free which was important to show in the images. Together we styled fresh, vibrant fruits and vegetables which Naomi arranged to go with each jam we were showcasing, giving her customers a real visual for what is in their product. Since the lockdown began here, I wondered how long it would be before I could pick up my camera again and continue to do what I love. I often thought about all the memories that were being created but missed at the same time. 
Thankfully, restrictions have now been lifted allowing me to be able to get back out and start working again with safety measures in place.

This has all happened just in the nick of time for beautiful Claire who is due to have her baby immanently. Claire, is a previous Bride of mine and it brings me even more joy to join her and her husband Luke to capture some special memories of this next part of their lives together.
