Cute Ducklings at Liss Pond - Photographers Hampshire

Spring is now fully underway and with that comes some gorgeous signs of new life and one of my favourite things - baby animals. I originally wanted to capture some shots of the Heron that regularly visits the pond but on our second visit the following day we were overwhelmed to discover the hatching of 16 ducklings! We have been visiting this pond everyday and the ducklings are now 3 days old. When we were sat photographing we also had a very friendly bird pop down to feed in front of us and also spotted a rat swimming in the pond too. I'm not sure if its a normal rat or a water rat (is there a difference?) perhaps if anyone knows they could let me know!!
