COUNTRY WEDDING VENUES IN HAMPSHIRE | THE LONG BARN, NEWTON VALENCE. HAMPSHIRE - wedding photographers hampshire.

We have just started to work with a lovely local Wedding venue, which is almost on our doorstep.  The Long Barn www.the-long-barn.co.uk really is set in the heart of the Hampshire countryside, nestled away in a beautiful location in Newton Valence.

​After our first meeting with managers Kelvin and Rachael, who so warmly welcomed us, we went back last weekend to take some professional images for them to use in their advertising and website.

Viewed from the outside you can see where the lovingly restored building has developed its name from. Stepping inside you are met with the vast scale of the venue with its high roof and beautiful original beams.Turning around to face the bar and dining area you are met with the venues unique feature split level floor.

The gentle lighting in the barn softly highlights the beams with subtle light and warmth and candles throughout enhance the romantic feel of this charming building
and there is plenty of room for large celebrations.

When you look through the slideshow below I think you will all agree, that this really is a stunning venue. What you can't see from these images is the beautiful views surrounding it, but that is something that i will leave you to discover for yourself! Martin and I are looking forward to working with this venue more and i hope to bring you another blog from a Wedding or event here very soon. 

We also had the pleasure of meeting two lovely and cheerful ladies from The Blacksmiths Daughter Florists www.theblacksmithsdaughter.co.uk. Despite the chilly conditions, for the duration that we were at the venue the ladies never lost the smile from their faces and were genuinely a pleasure to work with. I think you will agree with me that their table pieces are truly stunning. The floral displays included figs, aubergines and grapes, carefully placed in amongst the beautiful flowers and foliage.
